Journal of Sustainable Civil Engineering (JOSCE) is a scientific journal published by Universitas Banten Jaya through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). JOSCE serves as a platform for the publication of research findings, academic studies, and original writings in the field of sustainable civil engineering, including structures, geotechnics, transportation, water resources, construction management, and other related fields.

Journal Objectives

The primary aim of JOSCE is to disseminate scientific knowledge, encourage the exchange of ideas among academics, researchers, and civil engineering practitioners, and serve as a strategic medium for the development of civil engineering knowledge relevant to sustainability and environmentally conscious development.

Publication Schedule

Initially, JOSCE was published twice a year in March and September. Starting in 2024, the publication schedule has been changed to May and November, to better accommodate the editorial workflow and peer review processes.

Vision and Direction

As a growing journal, JOSCE aspires to continuously improve the quality and professionalism of its scientific publishing practices. We expect submitted manuscripts not only to meet standards of originality and novelty but also to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of civil engineering locally, nationally, and internationally.

We welcome both technical and substantive input during the editing and revision stages and are gradually strengthening our evaluation system to align with national and international accreditation standards. Our target is to improve our SINTA ranking and achieve indexing in reputable databases.

Wishes and Aspirations

We sincerely hope that JOSCE remains a valuable source of inspiration and scientific knowledge, especially in the field of civil engineering. May this journal support scientific advancement, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and become part of a broader effort to develop the nation through research and academic publication.
