Plyometric Exercise Untuk Meningkatkan Kecepatan Pada Pemain Sepak Bola Usia 15 Tahun
Abstract
Kecepatan berlari merupakan salah satu unsur fisik yang melengkapi teknik dasar permainan sepakbola dan memberikan peran yang sangat penting dalam pencapaian prestasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui apakah Plyometric exercise dapat meningkatkan kecepatan pada pemain sepak bola usia 15 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode one grup pretest-posttest design. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada 11 responden dengan frequensi sebanyak 2x/minggu selama 6 minggu dan akan ditingkatkan setiap satu minggu. Hasil dari analisa uji hipotesa menggunakan Uji Hipotesa paired t-test pada responden hasil Asymp.Sig (1-tailed) yang didapat yaitu <0.01 dimana hipotesa yang dihasilkan menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada intervensi yang diberikan dengan adanya perbedaan atau berpengaruh pada intervensi yang diberikan, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Pemberian plyometric exercise yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan kecepatan pemain bola Firman Utina Football Academy Tangerang usia 15 tahun. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan pemberian plyometric exercise yang terulang secara berturut-turut selama 6 minggu dengan dua kali pertemuan setiap minggu menyebabkan otot beradaptasi dengan kontraksi yang terjadi ketika eccentric dan konsentrik saat plyometric exercise diberikan.
