Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Informatika is a peer-refereed open-access international journal that has been established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of various issues spanning Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Systems. This journal is published by the Department of Information Engineering of Universitas Banten Jaya. Starting in 2018, SIMIKA would be published Twice times a year in February and August. Jurnal SIMIKA contains 10 articles. All submitted paper must present new ideas and developments of major importance in the field and reflects the variety of research concerns within and the range of methods used to study them. Accepted papers will be made available online (free open access).

Jurnal SIMIKA brings together thought leaders, researchers, industry practitioners, and potential data science and information system users to develop the field, discuss new trends and opportunities, exchange ideas and practices, and promote cross-disciplinary and cross-domain collaboration.

According to the decree No. 200/M/KPT/2020 of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, dated December 23 th, 2020, this journal is recognized (accredited) "SINTA 5" starting from the Vol. 2 No. 1, 2020 until Vol. 6 No. 2, 2023 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. In May 2024, Editor received a Copy of Ministerial Decree No. 72/E/KPT/2024, regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journal Period I of 2024, dated April 1, 2024, which states that SIMIKA has risen in SINTA 3 accreditation starting in Vol. 06 No. 1, 2023.

Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Informatika aims to provide scientific literature specifically on studies of applied research in information systems (IS)/information technology (IT) and public review of the development of theory, method, and applied sciences related to the subject. The journal not only facilitates local researchers but also international researchers.
